BADMAN FLOSS: I KEEP THE FAITH OF HAVING TIWA SAVAGE FOR A SINGLE NIGHT

LITERALLY he's not a 'badman' but Badman Floss as he's popularly called in the music industry is a real 'badman' to the bone when he's doing what he knows how to do best which is singing. Born in Dublin but raised in Enugu State Nigeria, Badman Floss also known as Nwa-afor started music professionally back in 2006. Since then, he's been working with a number of A-list artistes in Nigeria. His latest effort 'Sweet Girl' is still fresh on the airwaves and it's a toast of many any day.

Quizzed on how he arrived at the name 'Badman Floss', the super-talented artiste says, "Badman was given to me by a fellow artiste named Shalom, at that time I featured him on one of my very first singles. It's not that I'm literally a Badman but I'm kind of a 'badman' like Micheal Jackson was. I already had the name 'Floss' from Dublin. Basically the name Floss came from my lifestyle so I fused Badman with Floss. I'm also known as Mazi or Nwa-afor as a consequence of my Igbo background and gene".

Badman Floss had his education in the United States before moving to Dublin in the Republic of Ireland for a visit in 2005. It was around this time that he discovered his love for music. The Enugu raised singer started with a group known as Millaz (they were five (5) in the group) before the group had to split in 2009. Soon after the split, Badman Floss, a standout member of the group picked up a solo career m 2010. Since then, he's been reeling out top singles.

His latest effort 'Sweet Girl' featuring Vector is a master piece. Asked now he came about the song, the artiste who has released six singles so far reveals that, "initially it was Vector's instrumental but along the line, it turned out to a Badman's song featuring Vector. We decided to do a wedding song and after thinking of all the beautiful girls in my life, I was able to come up with 'Sweet Girl'. It was a bit too local for me doing it alone, so I needed to get a top class artiste in the mould of Vector to spice it up with his beautiful rap accent". Although Badman Floss has been around for sometime, he's yet to have an album out; but he's confident that the time to get his first studio compilation out is just around the corner.

Apart from that, Badman Floss has worked with the likes of A list artistes like 2face, Dcechukwu, Vector, Lynxxx, Ikon, Benedato, Flavour, Sauce Kid, and SDC; but he's keen and looking forward to working with Naeto C, Dbanj, Iyanya, Duncan Mighty, Choc Boys, Mavin, my other half Kay Switch, Flavour and most importantly, Tiwa Savage and Mochedda.

On whether Badman Floss indeed has a 'sweet girl', he responded in the affirmative claiming, "Yes I do have a Sweet Girl". In fact, he proceeded to say that although
he would love to marry outside the industry, but whoever God presents, he wouldn't deny because He has the final say.

Asked on the hottest chic in the industry he would love to have for just one night, Badman was quick to say, '"Tiwa Savage definitely and it will definitely happen. I have faith".

On his thought about the recent wave in the music industry,   the   'Sweet   Girl'
crooner says the industry is growing very fast. "Our music is fast growing all over the world. Big shout out to all the A-list artistes making it happen. My advice for upcoming artistes like me is that we really need to be ourselves, come up with something totally different, stay unique and possess a swag that's uncommon.

On   his   nearest   future ambitions,   Badman   Floss intends to be very busy and occupied with music.

"I want to keep giving my fans the very best and keep creating links between myself and the A-List artistes at home and abroad. I also intend to take my music to a whole new level. I hope to become a CEO one day and also try my hands on a few businesses. In all, I'll just let God take the lead while I follow."
